Why we started this
We've always believed that a handmade friend carries something special — a kind of quiet courage stitched right into the seams. When we started hearing from parents whose children were going through hard things, we knew we had to do more than just make toys. The Courage Companion Program is our promise: that every child who needs a friend will have one, no matter what.
How it works
You adopt a friend
Every purchase from our shop or a custom order counts toward the program. No extra steps, no opt-in required.
We keep count
For every 10 friends that find a home, we set aside one Courage Companion — handmade with the same love and care as every other friend.
We find the right child
We work with children's hospitals, foster care coordinators, and community partners to find children who could use a little extra courage.
A friend finds their home
Each Courage Companion is delivered with a note explaining that someone out there was thinking of them — because they were.
